Gigaweb Guide

Email

Create and manage your professional email accounts, and choose how you connect: an email client or Webmail.

This is done from your hosting's Control Panel. Not sure how to access it ? Follow the guide to access the Control Panel →

You can create and delete mailboxes directly from the Control Panel, Mail tab. There are then two ways to read your email:

  • Set up an email client (Outlook, Mail on iOS/Android…) on your computer or phone
  • Use a browser to log in to Webmail

Depending on your hosting plan, you can also set up:

Mailing lists

An address several users are subscribed to — useful for sending news or running a group discussion.

Email aliases

An extra address linked to your main mailbox. Handy for publishing a temporary address: if it gets spammed, simply delete the alias.

Email forwarding

Each account can automatically forward a copy of its incoming messages to another address.

Auto-reply

A pre-set message sent automatically in reply to any incoming email — ideal for time away or holidays.

Access your account via Webmail

In your browser, go to webmail.yourdomain.be (replacing it with your own domain name). When prompted, enter your full email address as the username (for example contact@yourdomain.be) and your password.

Setting up Outlook on mobile

1
Open the Outlook app and tap Add Account.
2
Enter your full email address.
3
Choose the IMAP or POP protocol — both are supported by Gigaweb.
4
On the next screen, don't change the incoming/outgoing server settings suggested automatically: just enter the account name, email address and password.
5
A certificate-related window may appear: click Connect to confirm.

For sending mail to work correctly, your domain must first be secured with an SSL certificate.
