Antenne 110

A multidisciplinary team, one file per child

Antenne 110 is an approved functional rehabilitation centre that cares for children with autism spectrum disorder or a severe personality disorder. The institution brings together a school and a residential centre on the same site. Its distinctiveness is also its complexity: care relies on a multidisciplinary team — psychologists, paediatricians, child psychiatrists, social workers — and the quality of care depends directly on how well these different perspectives are shared. The centre had a business application that had become unfit for purpose: it no longer kept pace with the institution's evolving practices, and both report management and documentation management had reached their limits.

Renovating the tool without interrupting care

The project covered four workstreams: fully renovating the application and adapting it to the institution's real needs as they are practised today; rethinking the management of medical reports, the heart of the multidisciplinary work; overhauling the documentation library, a reference resource for the teams; and migrating all existing documents, without loss or disruption of continuity.

A business application built entirely to measure

Gigaweb designed and developed a fully renovated application, built on a WordPress foundation but pushed well beyond its usual applications: fifteen business modules and more than two thousand lines of bespoke development. Medical report management brings together the drafting, consultation and historisation of observations from every contributor around the child's file; the documentation library was overhauled, designed for daily research and consultation by the teams; and the business modules were developed as closely as possible to the institution's practices rather than copied from a generic tool. Choosing WordPress as the foundation makes it possible to combine deep bespoke development with a familiar interface, immediately picked up by care teams whose profession isn't IT.

A tool that keeps pace with the institution

Antenne 110 now has an application aligned with how it actually operates, where the old tool used to impose its own constraints: the fifteen modules cover the entire business scope, with no need for workarounds. Report management gives each contributor direct access to their colleagues' work — the psychologist, the child psychiatrist and the social worker build a shared view of the child instead of reconstructing it meeting after meeting. The renovated library and the full migration of the documentation archive guarantee continuity: no history lost, all information accessible from a single place. This project illustrates our ability to work on existing business applications — taking over, renovating and extending a tool already in production, in an environment where service interruption is not an option.
